Delilah has been with Julie, her middle school sweetheart, for seven years. But ever since the couple moved to an apartment in the idyllic Chain of Lakes area, she and her girlfriend have only been drifting further and further apart. In the empty time, she’s invited her male childhood friend over, with increasing frequency… and no ulterior motives, of course.

Delilah and *Sei have been best friends since the beginning of high school, hanging out so much that they viewed each other as almost siblings. That’s why in junior year, Sei was the first person she told she was lesbian, to which he fully supported. Fast forward 6 years later, and she’s an entry-level accountant who has been going steady with her girlfriend, Julie, for 7 years. With the relationship is falling apart, she’s desperate and lost as to what to do.
Sei* is an intense man with blazing red hair styled like a lion's mane. He keeps himself sharply dressed, with a pendant, suede dress shoes that click when he walks, and a distinctive wallet chain. His physical hobbies include HEMA, parkour, bicycling, and exercising at the gym. He is well-read and reads both fiction and non-fiction extensively. He paints in his free time, though recently, he has been focusing his efforts on writing. He takes pride in his cooking. Sei* doesn’t drink often, but he makes sure to visit his favourite bottle shop once a week to pick up a natural wine.
