Inspired by The Little Prince. I was thinking of sakura blossoms, too. I really love fractal art! Grew up viewing them on DeviantArt. This is a collage of quasi-fractals which I then painted over.
Digital collages. Both pieces inspired by the song “Detonation” from The World Ends With You.
The cursed Captain Planet fanart I mentioned. Fully-clothed. I painted this when I was still worked in the hospital; yes, I did show this to my supervisor. She was impressed. Anyway, the second character is “Earth-kun” (he was trending on Twitter OK) and yeah this whole picture just screams JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure yes I am a weeb
Bayonetta fanart. Basically, this is a picture of God’s angels, as depicted in the game.
SIGNALIS fanart. A story about where the meaning of one’s existence, when you’re built only to be a replaceable tool. The protagonist is a robot trying to rescue the human she fell in love with from a prison camp. I loved the game because of its horror; felt very much like Silent Hill. This game also introduced me to The King in Yellow.
After the piano tribute to Nujabes. Rest in Beats, Seba Jun.
Not a painting; just one of my phone photographs I took years ago (2018 July) at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Heavily retouched. The title comes from… the sense of wonder the aquarium gave me. It’s hard to explain.
I saw Santiago Curaso’s illustrations for The King in Yellow and I wanted to make something similar. That’s all. I work on this piece by piece; it’s really just something I do to relax, like putting together a jigsaw puzzle over time.
Digital Chinese calligraphy. Yes, that is my own calligraphy; my brush strokes.「晶畫」is the Chinese character rendition of Jeong-hwa.
Traditional watercolour of a very fluffy breed of chicken. It was a gift for Chelle’s daughter.
I know you all have seen this already but I just wanted to take the opportunity to mention that the reason I painted this was because I wanted to paint flying toilet paper
I've always loved the “Crystal” wallpaper on Windows XP. I wanted to try making an homage to it.
